Back to School Tips! Start with stationery essentials

Can you believe that back-to-school season is already upon us? This time of year feels like a fresh start in so many ways, are you ready for the change of seasons?  We are! and we're kicking off the Back-to-School Season with some tips for Moms and for College students, check them out:

If you have kids:

  • Get them started with the school routine, sleep early, eat breakfast, and any other routine they might have.
  • Involve them in the selection of their school supplies, back packs, lunch bags and even their binders or notebooks.  Have them choose between pencils and pens and get them to value the opportunity of getting new items to start their upcoming school year.
  • Set spending limits for items such as clothing, shoes and backpacks, and allow them to pick out what they like best, either online or in a store. By doing this early, you’ll avoid long lines at stores and anxiety at home in the days leading up to the start of classes. If your child must wear a uniform, make sure they have what they need before the first day.
  • Create a Homework station for kids, stock up on our best school supplies, from accessories to notebooks. Many schools provide a list of everything your child will need.

If you are a College student:

  • Start a morning schedule.
  • Eat a healthy breakfast. A healthy diet keeps a brain healthy. Also pack a healthy lunch and follow a lunch schedule.
  • Plan your outfits. Set out clothes the night before.
  • Make dedicated screen-free time.
  • Play board or word games, even read a book.
  • Stick to a bedtime routine.
  • Choose wisely your new back to school items.  Did you enjoy using mechanical pencils more that ball pens?  Do you usually highlight your notes for better learning experience?  Do you decorate your notebooks to make them fun?
  • And don’t forget to set up a comfortable home study space if you will be taking part in distance learning.

Shopping for back-to-school supplies is fun!  You will need to get the year off to a successful start. Shopping for backpacks, binders, and pencil cases will get your child thinking (and excited) about the upcoming school year.
