And so
are the ideas for your TO-DO list!
1. Make a
Summer Playlist
Every summer needs its own playlist. Make one that feels upbeat and fun
to you and will take you back to what will hopefully be a magical summer when
you listen to it in the future.
2. Take a Long Bike Ride
Get some exercise and go someplace new. Keep track if it on your
journal.
3. Have a Picnic
Pack a lunch and take it outside. Go to a park or just put a blanket in
your backyard. Make a list of the places
you’d like to visit and a list of the items you need to bring to your picnic!
4. Do a Summer Photoshoot with
Family or Friends
Just as any Influencer! But these
pics will be for you to keep and enjoy.
Set up a fun outdoor summer photoshoot, go to a botanical garden or set
up a fun inflatable pool.
5. Start a Morning Meditation Practice
Daily meditation is a great way to start the day off right. A Meditation
tracker is easy to draw and a motivating tool when you watch all those small
empty squares fill out.
6. Read a Book
Spend a Sunday afternoon reading a guilty pleasure book, or any book you
like. If you do that every week, you’ll
end up reading more that you have thought!
7. Start a Daily Gratitude
Practice
Start being grateful for what you already have, when you do this, your heart
sings and your subconscious mind creates even more things to be grateful for. Write them down in your gratitude journal.
8. Makeover Your Patio or Balcony
Small balcony, patio or garden, make your outside space someplace you
love to be in. You can make that space inviting and fun. Make it an area you
can enjoy to sit and write or read on.
9. Go to a Farmers Market
Support your local farmers with a trip to the farmers market and get
some fresh fruits and veggies for your smoothies and salads. Serendipity will
actually be at the Streetsville Summer Market !
10. Go to a Thrift Store
11. Take a Road Trip
You don’t have to go far, take a little road trip this summer. Explore
some place you’ve never been to.
12. Paint a Sunset
Grab your brushes or crayons or pencils and exercise your creative
muscles. A sunset is one of the more simple things to paint if you’re not a
great artist, you may even use it as a month spread on your journal.
13. Make Lots of Smoothies and
Salads
And keep your favorite recipes in your journal or your recipe cards.
14. Fly a Kite
Head to the park and fly a kite. It does take a second person to get it
in the air, so invite someone you enjoy having fun experiences with.
15. Have a Water Gun Fight
16. Draw on the Sidewalk with
Chalk
Draw on the sidewalk with your friends or your kids.
17. Watch a Movie Outside
Whether that’s at a drive in movie or in your backyard on a projector,
just don’t forget the popcorn.
18. Go to a Theme Park or Fair
A day at a local fair or theme park is a must for your summer bucket
list. Keepsakes from fairs are awesome to decorate your journal.
19. Make a Crystal Terrarium
You can use a decorate bowl, mug, pot, an empty candle jar, or a glass
dish. Fill it with pretty rocks, add some fake moss from a craft store, put a
crystal or two in there and you’ve got instant high vibes in your space.
20. Go Bird Watching or Stargaze
Summer isn’t just about hanging out in the sun, it’s those warm clear
nights with the stars twinkling above you and maybe someone you care about
beside you. Or getting surprised with what nature offers.
Enjoy your summer!
